NATO Officials State That Ukrainian President Is Asking for Money and Weapons, Not Soldiers
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has not requested soldiers from NATO countries; instead, he has asked for weapons and also stated, "he is asking for money," according to NATO Military Committee Chairman, Dutch Admiral Rob Bauer.
"Zelensky has not asked for troops to be sent. It was French President Emmanuel Macron who proposed the idea of sending NATO troops to Ukraine, and Zelensky immediately said he does not want French soldiers to die in Ukraine," Bauer noted.
