Closure of the 2nd km of the Gndevaz-Jermuk Road Starting from 20:00 Today

As of March 26 at 17:00, snow is falling in the regions of Talin, Artik, Ani, Ashotik, Abovyan, Hrazdan, Sevan, Gavar, Chambarak, Dilijan, Aparan, Aragats, Spitak, Stepanavan, Tashir, and Sisian, as well as on the Dilijan-Vanadzor highway.

Due to heavy snow and lack of visibility, the Vardenyats mountain pass and the Ttujur-Navur roadway are closed to all types of vehicles.

Cleaning work for rockslides will be carried out at the 2nd km of the M-2 Gndevaz-Jermuk road. Accordingly, starting from 20:00, this section of the road will be closed for traffic for safety reasons.

Other interstate and national highways remain open. Road construction teams are conducting cleaning and salt-sand treatment work on the roads.
