Tashir Shopping Centers in Russia Move to Heightened Security Regime Following Terrorist Attack
The Tashir Group of Companies has implemented a heightened security regime in its shopping centers following a terrorist attack in Krasnogorsk, near Moscow, as reported by the company's press service.
The commercial establishments that are part of the Tashir Group will continue operating as usual. Currently, all locations have been placed under increased security measures, which include the involvement of additional security personnel and the application of all special measures permitted by Russian legislation. Vehicles entering the centers are being checked.
As part of other measures, organized patrols and security are being carried out by law enforcement personnel in the shopping centers, as stated by the company.
It was noted that following the terrorist attack that occurred on March 22, additional fire safety inspections were conducted across all facilities of the group on March 23. The representative added that the group's properties continuously undergo mandatory testing of fire protection systems, and security and other staff are trained for emergency actions, including evacuation of people in coordination with fire and rescue units.
