40 People Arrested in Turkey Linked to ISIS

In Turkey, 40 individuals suspected of being affiliated with the "Islamic State" group have been arrested. This information was reported by Hurriyet Daily News, citing Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya. He announced on the X social media platform that the suspects were apprehended during operations against the Islamic State across eight provinces in the country.

Yerlikaya emphasized that since June 2023, a total of 1,316 operations have been carried out against ISIS, resulting in the arrest of 2,733 suspects. Of those detained, 692 have been arrested, while 529 are under judicial supervision.

According to the source, these operations were initiated after the group claimed responsibility for an attack that took place at a concert hall in Moscow.
