US Vice President Denies Ukraine's Involvement in Crocus Terror Attack
Lilit A.
US Vice President Kamala Harris has denied Russian President Vladimir Putin's assertion that Ukraine has any connection to the terrorist attack that occurred on Friday at the Crocus City Hall concert venue in the Moscow region.
During a session in Congress, ABC News senior correspondent Rachel Scott asked Harris if the US has any evidence to support Putin's allegations. "No," the Vice President responded. "First of all, let me say that the terrorist attack and the number of victims is a tragedy, and we must express our condolences to their families."
"No, there is no evidence, and in fact, we know that the Islamic State terrorist group is indeed responsible for the actions that took place," Harris added.
