Deputy Mayor Addresses Armed Assault at Police Station

The Deputy Mayor of Yerevan, Armen Pambuxtchyan, has commented on the armed assault at the police station. He stated, "Hooliganism and lawlessness have no place in our daily life and especially in the behavior of our youth. This is a message that we all must acknowledge and act accordingly."

It is noted that according to the police report, at around 5:00 PM today, three individuals attempted to forcibly enter the administrative building of the New Nork Police Division, using a grenade in the process. As a result, two of the assailants were injured and transported to a medical facility. One individual remains armed and continues to be positioned in front of the police station. Efforts are underway to neutralize the situation.
