How NATO and the EU Responded to the Terror Attack in Moscow
The North Atlantic Alliance condemns the terrorist attack at the "Crocus City Hall" in Moscow and extends condolences to the families of the victims and the injured. This was stated by Farah Daahlallah, head of NATO's press service, in a post on social media.
“We unequivocally condemn the attack on the audience at the concert in Moscow. Nothing can justify such horrific crimes. Our deepest condolences to the victims and their families,” she wrote.
The EU's High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell, also condemned the terrorist act in a post on social media. “I strongly condemn the terrible terrorist attack that occurred last night near Moscow. Once again, defenseless people are the targets of terrorism,” Borrell wrote.
He further noted that the international community must unite in the fight against terrorism.
It is noteworthy that on the evening of March 22, there was a shooting and a fire before the concert at "Crocus City Hall." According to the Investigative Committee, the number of casualties from the terrorist attack has reached 133.
