Nikol Pashinyan on Today’s Meeting with Tavush Residents
During today’s meeting with residents of Tavush, the Prime Minister presented a model of the map of Armenia shown during his recent press conference.
“The most important message was the same outline of Armenia that I presented there, I also showed it here,” Nikol Pashinyan said in response to a question from “Azatutyun” regarding what proposals he brought and what thoughts he had.
He assured that during the approximately 3.5-hour meeting, residents of Voskepar, Baghanis, and nearby villages shared their concerns, and a recording of the meeting will be published.
“Naturally, we were told about concerns, and we answered those questions. Our approach is that there should not be a question raised by people that remains unanswered. If it remains unanswered, it means we do not have a solution to the issue,” Pashinyan emphasized.
When asked if he came to today’s meeting with answers, the Prime Minister responded, “For some questions, yes, we came with answers, but for others, I told the people directly that I came not only to answer questions but also to collect questions and to put those questions on the government table as agenda items to think about and to return with answers.” He mentioned that there were questions whose urgency he felt in a more emotional and practical way on the ground.
Most importantly, he said, is that people's concerns and their belief in the future must be substantiated “on the ground through processes.”
