Suspect in the Murder of Yuri Minasian Identified

On March 5th, during an argument that erupted on Pushkin Street in Yerevan, a resident of Yerevan, Yuri Minasian, was severely injured (leading to his death in the hospital several days later). The suspect, identified as H.M., has been located and presented to the investigative authorities. This was reported by Goris Abrahamyan, spokesperson for the Investigative Committee.

He has been charged under Article 166, Part 2, Points 10 and 15 of the Armenian Criminal Code (causing serious bodily harm to another person on hooligan grounds, resulting in the death of the victim due to negligence).

A petition has been submitted to the court regarding the reconsideration of the detention measure imposed on him.
