Stabbing Incident in Hrazdan Gorge: Suspect Linked to Seyran Saroyan

On March 21, a stabbing occurred in Yerevan, as reported by shamshyan.com. According to information received around 11:00 PM by the Criminal Investigation Department of the Yerevan Police and the Mashtots Police Department, a brawl took place at the well-known 'Benedict' restaurant complex in Hrazdan Gorge, resulting in a stabbed citizen.

The site indicates that police and patrol officers discovered blood-like traces both inside and outside the restaurant, subsequently taking several individuals to the Mashtots Police Department for questioning.

While police were investigating the scene, the Armenia Medical Center alerted the Mashtots Police Department that a citizen had been admitted in critical condition due to stab wounds. Upon investigation, officers learned that the victim had been transported from the scene but was unable to provide any explanation to the doctors regarding the incident.

Police and investigators identified the victim as 33-year-old Aram Sargsyan, a citizen of the Republic of Armenia and Ukraine, residing in Vagharshapat. According to sources, prior to the altercation, a celebration was held at the 'Benedict' restaurant for the birthday of the wife of former Member of Parliament and General Seyran Saroyan, who was also present at the hospital.

During the event, a dispute arose that escalated outside, where several stab wounds were inflicted on A. Sargsyan. It has been reported that authorities have already identified the alleged assailant, who is a relative of S. Saroyan, and are currently searching for him.
