Identity of Victims in Car Accident-Fire in Syunik That Claimed 4 Lives Revealed

The identity of the victims in a car accident-fire in Syunik, which claimed the lives of four individuals, has been revealed today, March 19. Earlier reports indicated that on March 19, at 05:40, the Syunik Regional Rescue Service's crisis management center received a call regarding a burning vehicle near the Sisian airport intersection, with a citizen inside.

It was determined that vehicles of 'Opel' (driver: P. B.) and 'VAZ' (driver: K. G., born in 1986) had collided on the 8th km of the Sisian-Goris highway, resulting in a fire in the 'VAZ' vehicle. The fire was contained by 06:06 and extinguished by 06:30, completely reducing the vehicle to ashes.

Rescue teams discovered the charred remains of H. H. (born in 1966), S. H. (born in 1989), S. G. (born in 2013), and N. B. (born in 1967) inside the 'VAZ' vehicle. K. G. was hospitalized at a medical center, where doctors assessed the victim's condition as serious.

According to Shamshyan.com, the driver of the 'VAZ 2106' is an assistant to a duty officer in the Gyumri division of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, and the deceased include his wife, minor child, and relatives.
