University Lecturer Falls Into Coma From Fear During Belgorod Attacks, Passes Away
A lecturer at Belgorod State Technological University named after V.G. Shukhov, 41-year-old Inna Lagutina, fell into a coma on March 15 during a missile attack on the city, fearing for the lives of her three children, and died three days later without regaining consciousness. This information was reported by the university's press service.
“Inna Sergeevna will always be an example of unwavering dedication to her profession for us, a true friend ready to help at any moment, not just with words,” the statement mentioned.
Since March 12, Belgorod and Kursk regions have been subjected to massive drone attacks. On March 13, Ukrainian armed forces attacked the FSB building in Belgorod. On March 14, Russian military correspondents reported another attempted incursion by Ukrainian forces into Russian territory, particularly noting intense fighting in the area of the village of Kozinki in Belgorod region.
On March 15, the region’s governor, Vyacheslav Gladkov, reported that four people were injured due to another attack by Ukrainian forces. According to the Belgorod Regional Health Ministry, from March 12 to 18, 11 people were killed, and over 80 were injured as a result of shelling by the Ukrainian armed forces.
