Road to Jermuk Closed in Both Directions: Road Conditions Update
The Emergency Service informs that there are closed and difficult-to-navigate roads within the territory of Armenia.
The roads from the «Amberd» high mountain meteorological station in the Aragatsotn region to Amberd Fortress and Kari Lake are closed.
The section of the M-2 highway leading to the city of Jermuk is closed in both directions due to a landslide.
The Vardenyats Pass (foggy conditions) is difficult for tractor-trailer trucks to navigate.
According to information received from the Emergency Management Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation in North Ossetia, the Stepanavan-Mindia-Lars highway is open for all types of vehicles.
Drivers are advised to travel exclusively on winter tires.
