Powerful Cyclone Penetrates Armenia

Due to the penetration of a powerful cyclone from the Mediterranean Sea, rainfall is expected across the entire territory of the Republic on March 22 and 23, particularly in the afternoon and evening hours.

In regions like Shirak, Lori, the foothills of Tavush, and in the mountains of Aragatsotn, Kotayk, Vayots Dzor, and Gegharkunik, precipitation will manifest in the form of snow. In some areas, the precipitation is anticipated to be intense.

Thunderstorms, wind intensification of 20-25 m/s, blizzards, and low horizontal visibility are expected in certain districts.
