Supervisory Measures to Be Implemented in Egg Market Ahead of Easter, Says NSSA
In anticipation of Easter, the National Service for Food Safety (NSSA) of Armenia will conduct supervisory measures in organizations involved in egg production. This information was provided by the NSSA.
It is noted that the monitoring activities, which started today, will take place not only in egg production organizations but also in the sales market to assess existing risks and to eliminate the supply of eggs of improper quality.
The NSSA encourages all consumers to report any suspiciously fresh eggs or other violations (such as labeling inconsistencies, inappropriate refrigeration conditions, sanitary and hygienic violations, etc.) by calling the NSSA hotline at 118, or by messaging their Facebook page.
It is reminded that this year Easter, the feast of the glorious Resurrection of Jesus Christ, will be celebrated on March 31.
