Ukrainian Existence is at Risk, Pentagon Chief Says

U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin has warned that Ukraine's existence is at risk. He attempted to persuade allies that the United States remains committed to Kyiv, even as Washington has, in effect, exhausted its means of supplying weaponry to Ukrainian forces without providing new aid as of yet. House Republican Speaker Mike Johnson is refusing to schedule a vote on a bill that would allocate an additional $60 billion to Ukraine, while the White House is struggling to find resources to send assistance to Kyiv, which has been fighting against Russian forces for over two years.

“Today, Ukraine’s survival is at stake, and America’s security is at risk,” Austin stated during a press conference following the meeting.
