«There is no agreement on maps between Armenia and Azerbaijan»: Pashinyan

The Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, has stated that there is currently no agreement on maps between Armenia and Azerbaijan. "There is an agreement that Armenia and Azerbaijan recognize each other's territorial integrity based on the Alma-Ata Declaration, and there is an understanding that there should be a delimitation process between Armenia and Azerbaijan, for which the political basis should also be the Alma-Ata Declaration," he noted in response to a question from Gegham Manukyan, a member of the 'Armenia' faction.

According to him, implementing delimitation on the basis of the Alma-Ata Declaration means reaffirming the last de jure boundaries of the USSR "on the ground". "We are guided by that logic," he added.

Pashinyan also mentioned that during his meeting with the residents of Voskepar and Kiran, he did not provide any working information. "I talked about Azerbaijan's positions, I spoke about the publicly expressed positions," he stated.
