Blizzard, Fog, Snow: The Situation on Armenia's Roads

The Rescue Service reports that there are closed and difficult-to-navigate roads in the territory of Armenia.

The roads from the "Amberd" high mountain meteorological station in Aragatsotn Province leading to Amberd Fortress and Kari Lake are closed. The Vardenyats Pass is closed for trucks with trailers due to snow, blizzard, and low visibility.

The Spitak-Dilijan road is difficult for trucks with trailers (in case of using chains), and the Berd-Chambarak road is impassable for all types of vehicles.

Snow is falling in the regions of Lori and Gegharkunik, in the areas of Saravan-Zanger, Megrui Sar, Sisian-Goris (foggy), and Sisian-Ltsen roads, as well as in the regions of Ashotq, Amasia, Aragats, Aparan, and Talin, and in the cities of Dilijan, Kajaran, and Jermuk.

Goris city is experiencing fog, while the village of Vardaghbyur is under a blizzard.
