Following the conclusion of the match, a crowd of fans surged onto the field, with some attacking Fenerbahçe players, leading to a brawl that referees attempted to break up. Players hurried to the locker rooms as bottles and other objects were thrown in their direction.

Turkey's Minister of Interior, Ali Yerlikaya, announced on social media that an investigation has been launched concerning the incident, with efforts to identify the fans who entered the pitch. "Violence in football stadiums is unacceptable," said the minister. Video footage of the incident has also been released.
