Russia's Central Election Commission Completes Vote Counting
The Central Election Commission of Russia has completed the vote counting process. Following the processing of 100% of ballots, incumbent President Vladimir Putin has received 87.28% of the votes, while Nikolai Kharitonov garnered 4.31%, Vladislav Davankov received 3.85%, and Leonid Slutsky took 3.20%.
Vladislav Davankov, the candidate from the 'New People' party, has congratulated Putin on his decisive victory in the presidential election.
Putin later met with his former opponents at the Kremlin. The leader of the Federation has called for continued collaboration in parliament and for advancing initiatives aimed at the development of Russia.
