Pashinyan Says If We Don’t Give Up Villages, Turkey Will Attack from Armavir, Azerbaijan from Voskepar: Noyemberyan Leader
Today, we reported that the opposition leaders of Tavush communities are avoiding speaking about their meeting with Nikol Pashinyan. A few moments ago, Arsen Aghababyan, the head of the Noyemberyan community and a member of the 'Living Homeland' party, contacted 24News and shared several details about the meeting.
Specifically, Aghababyan mentioned that Pashinyan stated that if we don’t give up the villages, Turkey will attack from Armavir and Azerbaijan from Voskepar, thus presenting the surrender of four villages in the Tavush region as unavoidable.
Aghababyan added that the community leaders and villagers are categorically against the surrender of the villages, which they also informed Pashinyan about.
Pashinyan, in turn, noted that nothing would be done in secret from the residents. 'Nothing can happen without you; I will come back again, 2 times, 3, 5, 10, 20 times, it will not happen that you don’t know what is happening,' said Nikol Pashinyan.
It was initially not announced that Pashinyan would visit; only at 11:00 AM today did the community leaders learn that he would be visiting Tavush. Moreover, all their phones, including those of the mayors, had been taken in advance.
