Russia Open to Negotiations but Not in the Format of Zelensky's Plan, Says Russian Foreign Ministry

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov confirmed the country's openness to a negotiated resolution of the Ukraine conflict during a meeting with Li Hui, the special representative of the Chinese government for Eurasian affairs. However, he excluded participation in any meetings based on Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky's "formula." This information was provided in a statement from the Russian Foreign Ministry, as reported by TASS.

“Lavrov confirmed the Russian side's openness to a negotiated solution and emphasized that participation in any event based on the 'Zelensky formula' is unacceptable for Russia, regardless of its external presentation,” the diplomatic office noted.
