North Korea Has Sent Nearly 7,000 Containers of Ammunition to Russia Since Last Year
North Korea has sent nearly 7,000 containers filled with ammunition and other military equipment to Russia since last year. This announcement was made by South Korean Defense Minister Shin Won-sik, as reported by Sky News.
He made this statement during a press conference just hours after South Korean military officials reported that North Korea had launched short-range ballistic missiles toward the eastern waters of the country.
According to South Korean officials and private experts, North Korea may be receiving food and economic aid in return for these shipments. The United States and South Korea had previously accused North Korea of sending shells to Russia and providing other military assistance during the war. Both Russia and Pyongyang have denied these allegations.
