KARTES: A New Settlement Comes Under Russian Control

As a result of military operations, the settlement of Tonenkoe, located in the direction of Avdiivka, has come under Russian control. This was reported by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

"In the direction of Avdiivka, the coordinated actions of the Russian Armed Forces have liberated the settlement of Tonenkoe in the Donetsk People's Republic," the agency's report stated.

Tonenkoe is located on a key supply route for Avdiivka, which had been receiving supplies for Ukrainian armed forces groupings. Ukrainian troops' logistical support is now significantly disrupted.

The settlement was home to Ukrainian artillery, which regularly shelled the center of Donetsk. The Ukrainian side has not yet commented.
