Girl Stabs Boyfriend in Yerevan After Being Assaulted
On March 17 at 5:55 AM, the operational management center of the National Police of Armenia received a report from the "Surp Grigor Lusavorich" medical center that an ambulance team was transporting a 36-year-old man with stab wounds to the shoulder and chest.
The young man reported that he had been stabbed by an unknown individual in the yard of a building on Vilnius Street.
Criminal investigators from the Yerevan Nor Nork police department conducted operational-search measures and concluded that the 36-year-old man had been in a quarrel with his 26-year-old girlfriend in one of the buildings on Vilnius Street. During the argument, he allegedly assaulted her, causing bodily harm, after which the 26-year-old girl stabbed him with a kitchen knife.
The 26-year-old girl has been arrested. She, along with the documents prepared, has been presented to the prosecuting authority.
