VIDEO: "Calm Down. Moderate Your Words" – Language Clash in Parliament
In the Armenian National Assembly's permanent committee on foreign relations, tensions escalated after Anna Grigoryan, a deputy from the "Armenia" faction, accused Ararat Mirzoyan of executing orders from Azerbaijan.
"I did not interrupt you out of respect for the institution of parliament, and also out of gender considerations, but you made a statement that is unacceptable. You said you are carrying out Azerbaijan's orders. So pay attention: it is you personally who is executing Azerbaijan's orders, and also the orders of another country that sponsors Azerbaijan," Grigoryan stated.
“Calm down. Moderate your words,” was Grigoryan's response.
“I repeat the words that you said. You are carrying out Azerbaijan’s orders and the orders from the country that instructs Azerbaijan on how to proceed,” Mirzoyan continued.
“What am I doing?” Grigoryan asked.
“I will tell you a story that I have already mentioned before, which I reiterated today; with a little thought, it proves that the one leading this line is executing that order,” Mirzoyan said.
