Foreign Minister on Negotiations Regarding the Surrender of Tavush Villages

No official of Armenia has the right to negotiate the surrender of anything from the Tavush region or any part of the Republic of Armenia to anyone. This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Ararat Mirzoyan, in the National Assembly.
“No one can surrender villages from the Tavush region to any other country,” he emphasized.
According to the minister, if anyone exceeds this limit, legal actions should follow.
“We are not negotiating the surrender of villages in the Tavush region,” Mirzoyan stated.
