Rishi Sunak on the Conflict Between Azerbaijan and Armenia

The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Rishi Sunak, has sent a letter to participants of the XI Global Forum in Baku, stating that a historic opportunity has emerged to end the conflict between Azerbaijan and Armenia. This information was reported by Azerbaijani media.

“There is currently a historic opportunity to conclude the conflict with Armenia, and we hope that a peace treaty will be signed this November,” the message says.

The letter also noted that relations between Azerbaijan and the United Kingdom continue to develop, and the UK will support Azerbaijan within the framework of COP29. It has been reported that Rishi Sunak's letter was read by the British Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Fergus Old.
