Yerevan's Current Path Could Cause Irreparable Damage to Allied Relations, Russian Foreign Ministry
The continuation of Yerevan's current path could cause irreparable damage to the allied relations between Russia and Armenia. This statement was made by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, during a briefing, commenting on Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's statements regarding the possibility of Armenia's withdrawal from the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO).
“The continuation of Yerevan's current trajectory could ultimately inflict irreparable damage to our allied relations, create serious risks for the sovereignty of the Republic, completely destroy effective mechanisms for ensuring the security of the country, and affect its prospects for accelerated socio-economic development,” Zakharova noted.
