VIDEO: Where Azerbaijanis Would Be Located If 4 Villages Are Handed Over
Garnik Danielyan, a member of the National Assembly from the "Hayastan" faction, personally visited the Tavush region to demonstrate what would happen if four villages were handed over to Azerbaijan.
He stated, "The first stop is the Verin Voskepar village. The defensive line established in the 1990s will be completely dismantled, and the enemy will find themselves deep in the rear, leading to all the disastrous consequences that follow. It's important to note that the gas pipeline entering Armenia also passes through the Verin Voskepar section, and if Azerbaijani control is established, this pipeline will also fall under Azerbaijani oversight. Should Verin Voskepar be handed over to Azerbaijan, they will also demand control over the communications.
It's crucial to know that if Tavush's villages are surrendered, Azerbaijani units will be very close to schools, kindergartens, and state institutions, thereby making their normal operations impossible. I would also like to mention that if Azerbaijan's demands are met, Azerbaijani units will be deployed at five junctions along the road, specifically on the Yerevan-Tbilisi highway. With Azerbaijani units stationed there, it will be impossible to service the inter-state road. In this scenario, Armenia would become a unique enclave, which Azerbaijan would attempt to encircle completely," he noted.
