Video: Drone Strike Hits Ryazan Oil Depot, Casualties Reported
The Ryazan oil refinery has come under a drone attack, with preliminary reports indicating there are casualties. This was informed by the region's governor, Pavel Malkov.
"The Ryazan oil refinery has been attacked by UAVs. A fire has broken out as a result of the strike. According to initial information, there are casualties. I am currently on-site, where all operational services are working," stated the regional leader in a report.
According to the Baza Telegram channel, the area affected by the fire is approximately 100 square meters. As a result of the explosion, two individuals have sustained shrapnel injuries and have been hospitalized.
Earlier, the Ryazan Unified Duty Dispatch Service informed RIA Novosti that the facility at the city’s oil refinery is ablaze, with firefighters on the scene. A RIA Novosti correspondent reports that traffic towards the factory has been closed off, allowing only emergency services to pass through.
