VIDEO: Il-76 Military Aircraft Catches Fire in Russia

A military transport Il-76 aircraft has crashed while taking off in the Ivanovo region. This was reported by RIA Novosti, citing the Russian Defense Ministry.

The cause of the accident is reported to be a fire that erupted in one of the engines during the flight. The aircraft had 15 people on board, including 8 crew members and 7 passengers. Preliminary reports indicate that everyone on board has died.

A commission from the Chief Command of the Russian Aerospace Forces has arrived at the Ivanovo airport. Footage from the scene has also been released.
