A snowboarder was "covered" by snow in the Priskovy ski resort in Khakassia, Russia. He managed to be found and rescued by other snowboarders who had rolled down with the victim. "They managed to save the person; they did not lose each other, it was a team effort," the group wrote.

The avalanche danger in Khakassia remains from mid-autumn until the end of spring, as reported by the press service of the republic's Ministry of Emergency Situations after the incident. A video of the event has also been published.
