14 Bodies Found at IL-76 Military Aircraft Crash Site

Fourteen bodies have been discovered at the crash site of an IL-76 military aircraft in the Ivanovo region. The identities of the deceased are currently being established, according to reports from 112, citing sources.

There is no official information yet regarding the fate of those aboard the aircraft. Emergency services continue to work on-site. According to one of the theories, there may have been several unregistered passengers on the plane.

It is recalled that earlier reports indicated a military transport aircraft crashed in the Ivanovo region around noon today. According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, the cause of the accident was an engine fire.
