Such Issues Have Been Discussed During Negotiations, Says Pashinyan
There is a question on Armenia's agenda regarding the withdrawal from complaints filed against Azerbaijan in international forums. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced this during a press conference.
"Such issues have been discussed and are being discussed during negotiations," Pashinyan said. According to him, this matter could be addressed at the very end, when the provisions of the peace treaty are already agreed upon and it becomes clear that both sides are ready to sign them.
"This is logical because if the parties are signing a peace treaty, why are they continuing legal battles against each other? And if they are not signing a peace treaty, it is a factor important for Armenia to drive forward our narrative and agenda," he noted. According to him, this issue should be mutual. "The discussion cannot only pertain to Armenia; a similar solution must be pursued by both sides," he stated.
