Public Catering Operations of Kindergarten Suspended by Food Safety Authority
Inspectors from the Food Safety Inspection Body of the Republic of Armenia conducted control measures at the kitchen of the "Spitak Community No. 1 Kindergarten." During the inspection, it became evident that the kitchen was operating in violation of established sanitary and hygienic standards.
In particular, there were no handwashing or raw material washing sinks equipped with hot and cold water. The kitchen floor, walls, ceiling, cabinets, and sink doors lacked smooth surfaces and were not covered with easily cleanable, waterproof, non-porous, and washable materials.
The food safety regulatory authority has suspended the production activities of the public catering facility and set a deadline for addressing the identified violations.
