Updated Information on Roads in Armenia

The Rescue Service informs that there are closed and difficult-to-pass roads in the territory of Armenia.

The roads from the "Amberd" high-altitude meteorological station in Aragatsotn Province to the Amberd Fortress and the Kar Lake are closed. The section from Saravan to "Zanger" is closed for trucks with trailers.

The Vardenyats Pass is passable with difficulty for all types of vehicles.

Regarding Lars, according to information from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia's Emergency Management Department and the Crisis Management Center of the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open for all types of vehicles. Drivers are advised to use winter tires only.
