Large Quantities of Illegal Weapons and Ammunition Found in Gyumri

The military police of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia has reported the discovery of machine guns, grenade launchers, automatic rifles, magazines, and 3,007 rounds of various calibers as a result of explanatory work conducted among citizens in Gyumri.

The Ministry of Defense emphasizes that efforts to detect illegally held weapons and ammunition will continue. They also urge those in possession of such items to voluntarily surrender them to local police subdivisions to avoid criminal liability.
