During the night, protests erupted in Tel Aviv where people chanted anti-government slogans and confronted police forces. The demonstrators called for the resignation of the entire government led by Netanyahu.

Additionally, the protesters requested a new agreement with Hamas regarding the exchange of captives, which local authorities have been reluctant to facilitate. Meanwhile, dozens of individuals, who have been in captivity since October, continue to be held by the group.
