Video: Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Vladimir Zelensky Meet in Turkey
Turkey is prepared to hold a peace summit with the participation of Russia, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan announced during a meeting with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky. He also mentioned that he discussed security in the Black Sea and the grain deal with Zelensky.
Zelensky presented his vision for the development of events. He opposed Russia's participation in the peace summit while admitting that Russia could be invited after a fair peace plan is developed.
"We do not see representatives from Russia at such a summit. We do not understand how to invite those who block everything, destroy, and kill. We want to achieve a fair world for Ukraine. Firstly, civilized countries will develop a plan, and only after that representatives from the Russian Federation will be invited," Zelensky stated.
