Major Accident in Turkey: 1 Dead, 27 Injured
In Bartın, Turkey, a collision between two minibuses has resulted in 1 death and 27 injuries. Local media reports indicate that the accident occurred in the Kuurtkoy village area. A minibus transporting 74 M 0203 license plate passengers, driven by Nejmi G. (67), collided with a bus carrying employees, which had a 74 M 0469 license plate, driven by Erol A. (50), traveling in the same direction. The collision caused both vehicles to overturn.
After the notification, police, gendarmerie, firefighters, and medical teams were dispatched to the region. Upon examination by medical personnel, it was revealed that one of the drivers had died. A total of 27 people have been hospitalized as a result of the accident, with the condition of 2 being serious.
Bartın's Mayor Hüseyin Fahri Fırıncıoğlu also arrived at the scene to receive information from relevant personnel.
