Fire in Yeghgnadzor: 3-Year-Old Child Taken to Hospital with Burns
On March 9, at 10:08 AM, the crisis management center of the Vayots Dzor regional rescue service received a call that a house was on fire on Narekatsi Street in Yeghgnadzor. Two fire and rescue teams from the Ministry of Emergency Situations were dispatched to the scene.
It was determined that the fire had broken out in the living room and roof of the house. Prior to the arrival of the rescue team, a 3-year-old child (born in 2021) was taken to a medical center with burns, where their condition was assessed as satisfactory. The fire was contained by 10:54 AM and extinguished by 11:24 AM. Wooden structural elements of the roof (approximately 45 square meters), as well as furniture in the living room, interior doors, and windows were burned.
