The Civil Contract Faction Held a Closed Meeting with Armen Grigoryan: What Were They Discussing?
The newspaper "Zhoghovurd" reports: "Members of the National Assembly's 'Civil Contract' faction summoned Security Council Secretary Armen Grigoryan to a closed meeting today.
It should be noted that the ruling bloc has openly adopted a pro-European foreign policy direction. Moreover, the authorities have declared at the level of the Speaker of the National Assembly that Armenia is ready to become a candidate for EU membership; it remains to be seen if the EU will accept us.
Today, the members of the Civil Contract are set to discuss questions related to this with Armen Grigoryan. It is no secret that Grigoryan is one of the most pro-Western figures in this government, who has consistently expressed strong opinions about Armenian-Russian relations.
According to media reports, the members of the Civil Contract are also planning to call Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan to the National Assembly in the near future."
