Garik Galeyan's Condition Slightly Worsened After Stenting; He Has Been Admitted to the Hospital
The condition of Garik Galeyan, the father of Mhitar Galeyan who died in the 44-day Artsakh War, has slightly worsened following a stenting procedure. He has been admitted to the 'Astghik' Medical Center for further examination. This information was conveyed to Sputnik Armenia by lawyer Vahan Hovhannisyan.
'Garik is currently in the hospital; he was transferred this morning and is undergoing tests again,' said the lawyer.
Earlier reports indicated that on February 24, Galeyan was admitted to the intensive care unit of the 'Astghik' Medical Center with a preliminary diagnosis of 'myocardial infarction.'
It is important to recall that news of Garik Galeyan's arrest became public on September 8, 2023. Later, the Investigative Committee announced that three packages of marijuana were discovered in his possession. On September 9, the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction approved the investigator's request and imposed a two-month detention as a preventive measure against Galeyan.
