Inspections to be Conducted at 'Max Fish' Company as SFFSC Responds to Rosselkhoznadzor

The Food Safety Inspection Body of Armenia is set to conduct inspections at the 'Max Fish' company. This information was published on the agency's Facebook page.

On March 1, Rosselkhoznadzor announced that it had detected violations in fish eggs supplied from Armenia, leading to a temporary restriction on deliveries of 'Max Fish' company's rainbow trout red caviar and frozen rainbow trout caviar.

The SFFSC received a letter from Rosselkhoznadzor stating that laboratory testing had revealed the presence of Enterobacteriaceae in the fish eggs produced by 'Max Fish' LLC. The Russian authority requested clarification on the circumstances of the violation.

The inspection body will undertake state control measures at 'Max Fish' LLC, with further information to be provided later, according to the statement.

The SFFSC last conducted supervision at the 'Max Fish' company in 2023, during which no violations were found.
