In 2023, over $360,000 Spent on Plants, Says Kristina Vardanyan

According to the budget performance, more than $360,000 was spent on plants in 2023. This was reported by Yerevan City Council member Kristina Vardanyan.

“In April, we have blooming apricot trees, flowering sakura, blooming kashtan in Krichatka, the reddish fig known as momidzi, the Crimean symbol magnolia, the Indian symbol lagerstroemia, the Lankaran symbol albizia, the golden ginkgo of Japan, and so on. Yerevan is not just a city, but a dendrological exhibition representing all regions of the planet, and the selection was made with a view from outer space,” she wrote.
