Video: Thieves Release Leaders of Influential Criminal Gangs from Haiti's Main Prison

As previously reported, thieves have freed nearly one hundred inmates from Haiti's main prison. Among those who escaped from the prison in the capital, Port-au-Prince, are leaders of influential criminal gangs, explains Gazette Haiti.

The police union in the capital has urged local officers to assist in maintaining control over the prison. "No one will be spared in the capital, as there are now an additional three thousand thieves operating here," the official statement reads.
