Photos: Ministry of Internal Affairs Reports on Accident Involving BMW and Opel

On March 3, at 4:19 PM, the National Crisis Management Center received a call reporting that a traffic accident had occurred at the intersection of Halabyan and Arzumanyan streets in Yerevan, with casualties; assistance from rescuers was needed. This was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia.

A firefighting and rescue team was dispatched from the Emergency Management Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. It was established that vehicles of the brands BMW (driver: A.H., born in 1992) and Opel (driver: H.A., born in 1993) had collided.

Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, the driver of the Opel and a passenger in the BMW, A.M. (born in 1992), were hospitalized.

The rescuers disconnected the power from the vehicles, closed the gas cylinder valves, and assisted passengers A.T. (born in 1987), A.H. (born in 2013), and L.N. (born in 1984) from the Opel by taking them to an ambulance. The injured were hospitalized in a medical center.
