Photos: The Only Tree on Amiryan Street Sidewalk is Being Cut Down, Eduard Hayrumyan

Yerevan city hall employees are currently cutting down the only tree on the sidewalk of Amiryan Street. Activist Eduard Hayrumyan alerted about this situation.

“The Yerevan city hall’s State Non-Commercial Organization for 'Greening and Environmental Protection' demonstrates an openly hostile attitude towards the trees of Yerevan and the green fund in general. What you are doing can only be regarded as barbarism,” he wrote on his Facebook page.

Hayrumyan also published photographs.
