PHOTOS: Public Catering Establishment's Operations Suspended in Yerevan

The Food Safety Inspectorate of Armenia conducted supervisory measures at a public catering establishment owned by Emil Baghdasaryan, located on Teryan Street in Yerevan.

During the inspection, it became evident that the restaurant was operating in violation of established sanitary and hygienic norms. Specifically:

• The external layer of the building’s walls was in poor condition, made of waterproof, non-absorbent, washable materials.
• The artificial ventilation system lacked a protective net, thus failing to prevent contaminated air from entering the premises.
• The shelves in the refrigerator that come into direct contact with food were corroded.

As a result of the violations found, the head of the Inspectorate decided to suspend the public catering establishment's operations, and a deadline has been set for addressing the identified issues.
